Sequim Bay State Park
US Route 101 Washington State
Photograph Details:
My college age daughter and I were on the last leg of a 7,000 mile road trip. We’d been on the road for 25 days and were trying to catch the a late ferry into Seattle. Tired, hungry and grumpy, we stopped at Sequim Bay (pronounced Squim) to watch the sunset. As we were leaving the parking lot, a Sequim resident approached and asked if were able to get “any good shots”. I said that I thought we had. He told us he’d lived near the lake for 25 years and this was the “best” sunset he’d ever seen. Sometimes, you just get lucky.
