Photograph Details:
I was hired by a friend of mine to photograph her English Bulldog, Higgins, for their annual Christmas card. Higgins was photographed alone on a grey background using studio strobes. After he was out of the scene and using the same light, I attached a cigar to a light stand and photographed it with the ember and the smoke. I later combined the two images in Photoshop to create this realistic photo composite.
