Photograph Details:
Although I live within 3 miles of Arrowhead Park on the East Side of Sioux Falls, I haven’t spent much time taking photos there. Visiting the park near sunset late last fall, I took a quick walk to the lake’s west boundary and found this scene. I had to climb down a granite outcropping so I could catch the leaves floating on the water’ surface. I waited until the moon rose and positioned it between two trees that were holding onto their leaves.
