North Shore
Lake Superior Minnesota
Photograph Details:
The first time that I visited Lake Superior I was 7. I remember driving into Duluth from the east and thinking that our car was going to plunge right into that huge body of water. Well, we made it out alive, as the highway curves to the north as you enter the city limits of Duluth. Minnesota’s North Shore is a photographic gold mine. From the lift bridge in Duluth to the boulder filled shorelines near Two Harbors, the sailboats mored in Grand Marias, Gooseberry Falls and of course the Splitrock Lighthouse.
